Hi! I’m reyanna edwards!
I’m an Atlanta-based actor, singer, and mover with a passion for bold, emotionally honest storytelling and a sparkle of royal flair. Whether I’m onstage belting a soulful ballad or diving deep into a character’s truth, I believe in bringing heart, purpose, and a little magic to everything I do.
I’ve had the joy of touring nationally with Ain’t Too Proud (2nd National Tour) as Johnnie Mae/Mary Wilson, and my journey has taken me through powerful productions like RENT, Dreamgirls, Little Shop of Horrors, and Jitney. Along the way, I’ve also had the honor of working as a teaching artist at the Alliance Theatre, where I get to inspire and uplift the next generation of storytellers.
I earned my B.A. in Theatre and Performance Studies from Kennesaw State University, where I trained in acting, musical theatre dance styles, and vocal performance. In my senior year, I was selected for The LINK Program in New York City, where I collaborated with Broadway professionals and performed for some of the industry’s top talent agencies. Sharing space with other fierce singer/actors, dancer/actors, and film/TV artists from across the country was an unforgettable experience and a powerful reminder that dreams really do come true.
One of my biggest dreams? Creating a world where every little Black girl knows she’s already royalty. That’s why I founded Anyone Can Be A Princess, a platform designed to redefine what it means to be a princess—centered on empowerment, creativity, and community. Through this work, I strive to uplift Black girlhood and spark confidence, imagination, and self-worth in young people everywhere.
Now, I’m continuing my artistic journey overseas, pursuing my MFA in Acting at the Guildford School of Acting in the UK. I’m committed to telling stories that elevate underrepresented voices, challenge expectations, and make audiences feel seen, celebrated, and transformed.
Because at the end of the day, anyone can wear a crown, you just have to believe it’s already yours.
